Electronic Bid Documents

The Sanitary District of Decatur is excited to announce the ability for contractors and suppliers to access bidding documents through a partnership with Quest Construction Data Network. The digital bid documents are available for the reduced fee of $10.00 per project. Documents may be immediately downloaded by selecting the link Contractor Files (at the top of the page) and choosing the project you are interested in.

Paper copies are still available however the fee will be higher and there may be a delay of up to 2 business days to produce the documents.

Notice of Availability of the Sanitary District of Decatur Audit

The Sanitary District of Decatur hereby provides public notice that an audit of its funds for the period May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013 has been made by the accounting firm of CliftonLarsonAllen. The full report of the audit is available for public inspection at 501 Dipper Lane, Decatur IL 62522 during regular business hours 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday except for holidays and is available here. The Annual Treasurer's Report is available here

Sanitary District of Decatur

The Sanitary District of Decatur is the regional wastewater treatment authority for central Macon County providing wastewater treatment services to the residents of the City of Decatur, Village of Forsyth, Village of Mt. Zion, and for industrial and commercial users in the Decatur metropolitan area. The Sanitary District of Decatur was formed in 1917 and the original treatment facility was completed in 1924. Major expansions and facility updates were made in 1928, 1957, 1964 and 1976. The current treatment facilities.
