Public Act 097-0609 Compliance

Public Act 097-0609 requires that, at least six days before an employer participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund approves an employee’s total compensation package that is equal to or in excess of $150,000 per year; the employer must post the total compensation package for that employee. Public Act 097-0609 also requires that the total compensation package be posted not more than six business days after the budget is approved for employees making more than $75,000 in total compensation. The information may be posted on the employer’s website or at the principal office of the employer. For purposes of the Act, total compensation package means payment by the employer to the employee for salary, health insurance, a housing allowance, a vehicle allowance, a clothing allowance, bonuses, loans, vacation days granted, and sick days granted.

The Sanitary District of Decatur will vote on the total compensation package for all employees on June 20, 2018. The required information for all employees was posted on June 7, 2018 at the District's main office located at 501 Dipper Lane, Decatur, IL 62521 and may be viewed from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM M-F.

The contract for Bargaining Unit employees is currently under negotiation so these employees have been listed with the most current information on June 7, 2018. The total compensation document will be updated at least six days after the agreement is approved.
