Public Body Organizational Description & Disclosure Document
The Sanitary District of Decatur is a municipal utility responsible for wastewater collection, treatment, and environmental compliance in Macon County. The District’s mission is to reduce pollution and safeguard the public health by providing efficient, effective, equitable, reliable and safe water reclamation services to the residents and industries of the District.

Our total Operating Budget for 2025-2026 is $19,125,100. The budget including Capital and Debt Service is $69,385,000
Our Administrative Office and Treatment Plant are located at: 501 Dipper Lane, Decatur, IL 62522
We have sixty (60) Full-time Employee Positions, one (1) Part-time Position and one (1) Seasonal Position included in the budget.
Our Board of Trustees Consists of:

- Rob Jacobson, Clerk
- Megan Baskerville, Treasurer
- Steve K. Horve, Trustee
