Public Act 097-0609 Compliance
Public Act 097-0609 requires employers participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund to post the total compensation package for employees with a total compensation package that is equal to or in excess of $150,000 per year at least 6 days before approving the budget and must post the total compensation package for employees with a total compensation package that is equal to or in excess of $75,000 per year within 6 days after approving a budget. The information may be posted at the employer’s website or at the principal office of the employer. For purposes of the Act, total compensation package means payment by the employer to the employee for salary, health insurance, a housing allowance, a vehicle allowance, a clothing allowance, bonuses, loans, vacation days granted, and sick days granted. Compensation for all employees with total compensated more than $75,000 was posted at the District’s Administrative Office located at 501 S Dipper Lane, Decatur IL 62522 on February 9, 2023; the budget for the compensation packages for all employees is scheduled for approval on February 15, 2023. This notice is being provided in compliance with Public Act 097-0609.
